  • Lawrence Fernandez

    Founder of Intentional Movement LLC.

    Coming from a family deeply rooted in medicine, Lawrence has always had a unique perspective on health and wellness. As a former athlete and dancer, he sought to empower individuals in their movement, health, and training needs, choosing a proactive approach over the traditional medical path followed by their father, mother, and brothers.

    Valuing movement, strength, intention, camaraderie, and community, Lawrence has dedicated over a decade to the fitness industry, blending practical and theoretical knowledge. Understanding that every movement modality offers something valuable, he has gained expertise in Classical and Contemporary Pilates Methods, Yoga, and has achieved StrongFirst Elite status. These milestones reflect a commitment to becoming both a better student and a more effective coach.

    Driven by a desire to cultivate a community of like-minded, positive, empowered, and open-minded individuals, Lawrence founded Intentional Movement LLC. Through this venture, he aims to create a space where respect, intention, and the best interests of clients are paramount. Having worked at some of the top commercial gyms, he has learned a fundamental lesson: treat your people and community with respect and always keep their intentions and best interests in mind.

    Brenton Sayers

    Brenton, former Division 1 swimmer turned dedicated strength and conditioning coach, brings over seven years of expertise to the fitness industry. With a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and certifications as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Strong First SFG 1, and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, Brenton possesses a robust academic foundation and specialized training that underpin his coaching philosophy. Throughout his illustrious career, Brenton has honed his craft through hands-on experience, working with a diverse array of clients to achieve remarkable transformations. From elite athletes seeking to optimize performance to individuals navigating the transition from athletic retirement, he has consistently delivered results with tailored programs and unwavering support. While working with Brenton, he promises to not only help you reach your current fitness goals but also equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle for years to come.

    Heather McHardy

    Heather has had a lifelong career in movement, starting as a professional dancer. Her interest in training was sparked when a fellow dancer used Pilates to regain her strength and mobility after a severe accident.

    She has since immersed herself in many certifications to help improve her clients strength and quality of life while reducing their pain.

    She specializes in decompression, core strength and support, posture correction, pelvic floor health and form. Her certifications include : Fully Comprehensive Pilates Equipment and Mat / Pilates for Neurological disorders / Pre and Post Natal Adaptations / Gyrotonic Expansion System / Strong First SFG 1 / Cupping and Flossing Certs.

  • Tracey Gittins

    Born and raised in Warrington, England, Tracey Gittins completed her formal dance training in the UK, then performed all over the globe for 20+ years, ending up on the stages of Las Vegas. She discovered Pilates during her career as a professional dancer as a tool for strength, mobility and longevity.

    A dedicated Pilates enthusiast Tracey earned her Pilates certification over a decade ago, but it wasn't until recent years after retiring from the stage, that she transitioned into teaching, viewing it as a natural progression in her career.

    She combines her deep understanding of body mechanics with a passion for helping others improve their wellbeing, believing that everyone can benefit from Pilates.

    Tracey is also certified in Pregnancy Pilates, finding profound fulfillment in supporting expectant and postpartum mothers through their Pilates journey. goes here

  • Shawn Fitzsimmons

    Shawn brings a rare blend of elite combat sport experience and mindful movement practice to his coaching. A former professional mixed martial artist and second-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Fredson Paixão, Shawn’s background was shaped in high-performance environments that demand both physical precision and mental resilience.

    With over 13 years of teaching experience, Shawn is a Yoga Alliance–certified instructor and senior instructor at TruFusion, where he has worked with a wide range of students emphasizing awareness, control, and sustainable movement. As an ACSM-certified personal trainer, he integrates strength training, mobility, and mindful performance to help clients move with confidence and purpose. His work reflects Intentional Movement’s philosophy of training the body and mind together—building resilient humans through intentional, adaptive, and long-term movement practices.
